Data we collect
- Registration data: name, email and account access credentials
- Workshop data: trade name, tax ID, registered address
- Usage data: work orders, customers, vehicles, invoices entered by the user
- Technical data: IP address, browser, device (access logs)
Purpose and legal basis
- Provision of the MecánicOS service (contract performance)
- Communications about the service, updates and support (legitimate interest)
- Compliance with legal obligations
- AI-assisted features within the product (contract performance)
Providers that process your data
We use the following providers to deliver the service. Where a provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, appropriate safeguards apply under the GDPR (see the international transfers section).
- Infrastructure, hosting and authentication: for the application to run and for accessing your account
- File storage: to store the images you upload to the platform
- Transactional email: to send service emails
- Payment processing: to manage your subscription billing
- Artificial intelligence services: for the AI-assisted features within the product
- Analytics and support: only with your consent
- Technical monitoring: for error detection and resolution
Retention and deletion
- While the account is active: data is kept for the duration of the subscription or trial period
- After cancellation: we stop using the data to provide the service and delete it within a reasonable period, unless required by law or while it remains in our providers' backups under their own retention policies
- Export: you can export your data from Settings before cancelling
Rights
You have the right to access, rectify, delete, port and object to the processing of your data. To exercise them write to soporte@mecanicos.app.
You may also lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es).
International transfers
Where a data processor processes data outside the EEA, the transfer relies on appropriate safeguards under the GDPR, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework where the provider is certified.
