Terms and Conditions of Use

Acceptance
By registering with MecánicOS you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the service.
The service
MecánicOS is a web application for managing vehicle repair workshops. It includes work orders, customers, vehicles, inventory, invoicing and basic financial tracking. It is an internal organisation and management tool: the calculations, documents, reports and summaries are auxiliary and must be reviewed by the workshop or its adviser. MecánicOS does not provide tax, accounting or legal advice, nor does it guarantee that the generated documents meet the specific obligations of each country.
Registration and account
- You must provide accurate information when registering
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your password
- One account per workshop. You can invite additional users according to your plan
Plans and pricing
- Basic plan: €29.90/month — 1 user
- Pro plan: €59.90/month — up to 5 users
- 14-day free trial with full access, no credit card required
- After the trial period, the account is frozen until a paid plan is activated
- Prices include VAT where applicable
Your data
- Your data is yours. MecánicOS does not sell it or use it for other purposes
- You can export your main data (customers, vehicles, work orders, invoices, inventory, suppliers, purchases and accounting) in CSV format from Settings; the export does not include photos, signatures or PDF documents
- After cancellation, your data is kept for 30 days and then deleted
Acceptable use
It is prohibited to use MecánicOS for illegal activities, send spam, attempt to access other users' data or reverse engineer the service.
Modifications
We may modify these terms with 30 days' notice by email. Continued use of the service implies acceptance of the new terms.
Cancellation
You can cancel your account at any time from Settings. There is no minimum term or penalty.
Limitation of liability
MecánicOS is provided "as is". MecánicOS shall not be liable for:
- Loss of data due to misuse, user error or force majeure
- Interruptions due to maintenance or third-party infrastructure incidents (Google/Firebase, Vercel)
- Indirect damages, loss of profit or loss of revenue
- Errors in tax calculations resulting from incorrect data entered by the user
To the extent permitted by applicable law, MecánicOS's liability is limited to direct and foreseeable damages. Any liability that the law does not allow to be excluded, such as that arising from wilful misconduct or personal injury, is neither excluded nor limited.
Workshop liability for its data
The workshop is solely responsible for processing its end customers' data. MecánicOS acts as data processor as described in the Data Processing Agreement (DPA). The workshop guarantees it has a legal basis for the data it enters into the platform.
Data retention after cancellation
- Active subscription: full access to all data
- After cancellation or end of trial: data accessible for 30 days
- After 30 days: definitive deletion of the data
- Infrastructure backups: managed by our providers in accordance with their retention policies
- Export available at any time from Settings → Export data
