Terms and Conditions of Use

1. Provider and acceptance
MecánicOS is the trade name of the provider identified in the Legal notice. By registering or using the service you accept these Terms and acknowledge the Privacy and the DPA. If you do not accept them, do not use the service.
2. A service for businesses and professionals
MecánicOS is a B2B service intended for businesses and professionals who use it in their trade; it is not aimed at consumers. By registering you declare that you act on behalf of your workshop and have the authority to bind it.
3. The service
MecánicOS is a web management application for vehicle repair workshops. It includes management of work orders, customers, vehicles, inventory, quotes, repair summaries with the data ready for invoicing, and basic financial tracking. Issuing invoices with VERI*FACTU is only available to workshops established in Spain, on request and after activation. It is an internal organisation and management tool: the calculations, documents, reports and summaries are auxiliary and must be reviewed by the workshop or its adviser. MecánicOS does not provide tax, accounting or legal advice, nor does it guarantee that the generated documents meet the specific obligations of each country.
4. Account and users
- You must provide truthful information when registering.
- You are responsible for the security of your credentials and for the activity of your workshop's users.
- One account per workshop. You can invite additional users according to your plan.
5. Plans, prices and trial
- Founder: €19/month (€190/year), 1 user. Pro: €49/month (€490/year), up to 5 users and additional features, as described on the website.
- Prices exclude VAT. The applicable taxes will be added.
- 14-day free trial, no card, to try the management features. During the trial, the documents you generate are demonstration documents and no real tax submission takes place; real tax submission requires a paid plan, activation of VERI*FACTU on request (only for workshops established in Spain) and the workshop's tax configuration.
- When the trial ends, the account is frozen until a paid plan is activated; your data is kept.
- The specific conditions of paid subscriptions (payment method, invoicing, renewal and taxes) are shown in the subscription process and form part of these Terms.
6. Cancellation and no lock-in
You can cancel at any time from Settings. There is no minimum term and no penalty.
7. Your data
- The data you enter is yours. MecánicOS does not sell it or use it for other purposes.
- The owner can generate a versioned, encrypted local backup from Settings containing the workshop's restorable data, including details and VERI*FACTU records, plus photographs, signatures and documents the browser can download. The manifest identifies any omitted file; passwords, tokens and provider credentials are excluded.
- After cancellation, we stop using your data to provide the service and delete it within a reasonable period, in accordance with the Privacy.
8. Data protection
For the data of your customers and other third parties that you enter into the platform, you are the controller and MecánicOS acts as processor, under the DPA, which forms part of these Terms. You guarantee that you have a legal basis and sufficient information for that data. For your account data and your relationship with us, MecánicOS acts as controller, under the Privacy.
9. Acceptable use
Using MecánicOS for illegal activities, sending spam, attempting to access other users' data or reverse engineering the service is prohibited.
10. Availability and limitations
The service is provided “as is”. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or the total absence of errors: interruptions may occur due to maintenance or incidents in third-party infrastructure (for example Google/Firebase or Vercel).
11. Responsibilities
The customer is responsible for the accuracy of the data it enters, for the use its users make of the service, for reviewing the documents generated and for complying with its own tax, accounting and legal obligations.
The provider is not liable for data loss caused by misuse, customer error or force majeure, nor for indirect damages, loss of profit or loss of revenue, nor for calculation errors derived from incorrect data. To the extent permitted by law, its liability is limited to direct and foreseeable damages. Liabilities that the law does not allow to be excluded or limited, such as those arising from wilful misconduct, are not excluded.
12. Intellectual property
The software, design and texts of MecánicOS belong to the provider or its licensors; you are granted a right to use the service for as long as the relationship lasts. You acquire no rights over them.
13. Changes
We may change these Terms. Relevant changes will be notified with reasonable notice; continued use of the service implies acceptance.
14. Applicable law
Spanish law applies, and the courts determined by the applicable rules will have jurisdiction.
